Where is Lac d'Hourtin in relation to the campsite, and what activities are available?

Lac d'Hourtin is less than 5 minutes from Les Ourmes campsite. This large freshwater lake (France's largest) is ideal for activities such as swimming, sailing, paddle-boarding, windsurfing and fishing. There are also hiking and biking trails around the lake.

Is the campsite close to beaches and the ocean?

Yes, Camping Les Ourmes is just 12 minutes from the Atlantic Ocean. You can easily reach the beaches of Hourtin by car or by bike to enjoy surfing, swimming and ocean walks.

What shops are nearby?

Near the campsite, in the town of Hourtin, you'll find a number of shops including supermarkets, bakeries, butchers and local markets. These shops offer everything you need to stock up during your stay.
